Using the FDA approved Candela Exceed, microchannels are created with very fine needles that penetrate the outermost layer of the skin, known as the epidermis, and reach the underlying layer, called the dermis.
The purpose of microneedling is to stimulate the skin's natural healing response and promote collagen and elastin production. Collagen and elastin are proteins that contribute to the skin's strength, elasticity, and youthful appearance. By creating these micro-injuries, microneedling triggers the body's healing process, which includes the production of new collagen and the remodeling of existing tissue.
For the best results it is recommended to complete 4 treatments (once a month for 4 months)

Zack Scanlan DNP, APRN

Zack has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. He later received his Masters in Nursing from the University of Arizona. After working as an ICU nurse he returned to the University of Arizona to earn a Doctorate in Nursing with an emphasis in Anesthesia. He received injectables training through Aura Academy in Oregon and he continues to seek out learning from the leaders in the industry. Zack is married to the coolest woman who amazes him every day and has 7 super awesome children (6 girls and 1 boy).
